Thanks to Hunterbrute for the tutorial thread above!

Important things you should know before starting:
1: Some of the addon maps (like no mercy, and some other few campaigns) cannot run perfectly in L4D 2. Most of the time, L4D 2 crashes and gives you a runtime error, but i know what causes the problem, and i will maybe try to fix this some day...
2: Some infected models from L4D sometimes load into the L4D maps, and when you kill them, they die and make black squares on the floor, but its only a minor thing and doesnt change gameplay at all

3: Some Addon campaigns such as Dead before Dawn wont play sound, but you can fix this by typing snd_rebuildaudiocache in console. Then let it load till it gets to 99-100% and then shut down L4D 2 and restart the game...
4: If you cannot load addon campaigns, it might be because of the AddID. They are inside the addoncampaign folder in a textfile called "addoninfo.txt" look for addonSteamAppID and if the number is 500, change it to 550...
Thanks to Hunterbrute for his reply about number 4

5: Hunterbrute also has a tut that might work better than this one, so be sure to check his one out

First, you need to have: L4D, and L4D 2 + Any Addon campaign.
Next, you got to go to your steamapps folder inside the steam folder, incase you dont know the path, it is: C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Left4dead/
When you have got into that folder, go to the folder called "left4dead"
When you are inside this folder, there should be many different folders such as materials and models. BUT - If you scroll down, you will find some .VPK files. They should be called pak01_000.VPK, pak01_001.VPK and so on, PLUS one more called pak01_dir.VPK

Copy all of these files into a new separate folder which we will call "Vpkfiles" on your desktop, or just where you want to put it.
Now they should look something like this in your folder:

Its saying that its copying the files, and the same should you do

Next, you have to edit the name on the vkp files, like this: pak01_000 -> pak02_000
If you cant see the difference: Im changing the 01 to 02, take a good look

You have to do that with all of the VPK files, so the next one would be pak01_001 -> pak02_001. Get it? well, heres a pic that shows you

When you have changed the name of ALL of them, you should then go to your L4D 2 folder.
Example: C:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/
The folder you should get to should look like this:

When you are inside the folder, go into your Vpkfiles folder and cut or copy all of the Pak02 files into the left4dead2 folder, and it should look like this:
Full sized pic: http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/1041/pic5s.png

And close the directory down, start L4D 2 via steam and start a campaign!!!!
IMPORTANT: This does not ruin your L4D 2, and you can always take backup of your game if you are unsure about what you are doing. The zombies might look weird, because they look a bit "clown" like with blue and yellow shirts, but it doesnt make the game change... You can always remove the Pak02 files and then the game will return to normal

Hope this helps
Jake
