Sorry not much to show as of yet... been quite busy lately. Here's a quick image of the main road, just to show the kind of realism im trying to achieve with my textures / props. I'm intending to custom build the entire map, without using any of Valves assets... I will post more images as I progress.

Lol, why would it do that, gurlas? I think it's obvious its for l4d2, more items, more weapons, more SI =) But what do you know, miracles can happend ;)

It looks great so far Doku. Just remember that you can only use a limited number of custom materials and models in the L4D SDK.

Keep posting more. I want to see some buildings! It reminds me of Lost Planet!

Well, the Left 4 dead 1 survivors were moving north from Pennsylvania, the Left 4 dead 2 survivors are in deep in the south in a hot climate.
They are not dressed for a snowy setting, the Left 4 dead 1 survivors are maybe...

But of course they can just be replaced...hmm

I'm unaware of any limitations... where did you hear this??...

Yeah, custom models, textures have a limitation as well as the number of brushes.

I might be wrong though, worth checking it out.

No, she doesn't wear a T-shirt does she?

I'm saying that the survivors (in L4D2 that is) are all wearing light clothes such as T-shirts, except for Nick who has a suit. Still, hardly anything you wear in a snowstorm.

Yeah, I mean them aswell, but it's only Francis who has short sleeves and he's "indestructible" so he'd probably never admit that he's freezing. :)

well theres a limit to the amount of brushes and models in a bsp.. but nothing to do with customs. the limit is on how many u place in one bsp.
you should never really experiance any problems with reaching this limit.
hammer will tell you in its debug output when u compile, it gives you a percent used.

this mod looks intresting, very very nice textures , could have done with these to finish my frostbite campaign.
i will be intrested to see where this project goes.
